The market of hip hop can be oversaturated with every genre, category and all types of rappers. Everyone in the industry must have the “it factor;” an image, a gimmick so to speak, a distinguishing appeal that puts their music and voice to the forefront of "Hot 97" and beyond. For award winning Indie Music Revolutionary Mvstermind, the result is achieved with a very distinctive formula. All of his equations, theories and algorithms on creating EPIC music are innately derived, not from studies of big whig hype machines, but literally from his core; his musical genius, soul and faith. A born “Show Me State” resident hailing from both U. City, the North & South side’s of St. Louis, his talented musical approach is more displayed in his fan appeal and local accolades than bragged about in his songs, even though he was recently listed by Complex Magazine as one of “2016 Artists to Watch.”. He’s commanded the crowds, sharing stages with Chance The Rapper, Travis Scott, Oddisee, Ab-Soul, G-Eazy, attended festival such as A3C, SXSW, Brooklyn's Beastie Boy Tribute show, MCA Day and much more. A modern day renaissance man, Mvstermind dons the titles of producer, rapper and sound engineer with much humility. His musical sound is hard to categorize, fusing elements of soul, electronica, hip hop, trap and much more to create his very unique sound. Mvstermind’s lyrical content is far from the run of the mill 8 bars glamorizing superficiality and materialisms. As the Leader of the Hip-Hop Collective MME, together they've transcended boundaries of DIY, from pop up shows, creative guerrilla marketing, to independent album packaging and distribution. Together the collective of MME has over 20+ thousand miles in independent touring racked up and doesn't plan on stopping there. Mvstermind literally sees sounds, scenarios and visions on what and how to create music and write powerful prose-like poetry positioned on the track. Whether it’s the creation of the Ferguson (Michael Brown) protest anthem “OPFERGUSON WAVE2,” or recalling his family’s will to rise above strain in “Mo-Ham the Stegasaurus Rex,” or the theme of scientific calculations and attracting generational wealth for the community, like found in his latest single “Mali Moolah”, Mvstermind has the divine gift to touch a listener’s soul in the most sonically capturing but unobtrusive ways. With this year slated for continued success just after the final leg of his tour with collective MME ending in April, there is literally no stopping destiny for Mvstermind. So long as there’s a will, way and a dream, the future is all his.

Mvstermind Teamed up with local guerrilla marketing Team "Cruz Control" to public premier "Mali Moolah" The two came up with the idea to create an old School "Safe" symbolizing the worth that Mvstermind talks about in his song. The two built the safe from scratch and strategically documented the process, giving the viewers on social media anticipation, they didn't know what was being built. Once they assembled the safe, which included a projector and TV Screen, together they took it to two locations premiering it the public. The supporters took to the movement getting #MALIMOOLAH to trend in Saint Louis, the mission was accomplished. Using the same creativity that brought the song to life, Mvstermind and Cruz Control single handedly brought the video to the attention of Saint Louis, ricocheting nationally.

Mvstermind and Cruz Control used the word of mouth, and social media strategy to spread the video premier locations. People came out tweeted, snap chatted, instragram, etc Leading to Mali Moolah to Trend.

Study Breaks & Beats is a program founded by Mvstermind, to teach the youth how to apply the fundamentals of creating music as applicable tactics in life's problem solving. As “Study Breaks & Beats” reaches other campuses and centers in the near future, Mvstermind has plans of employing other local producing/recording artists. This in essence serves as a means of providing a career path and sustainable income while keeping the fellow musician employed. A major perk of the future positions to be offered for artists, is that they can gain experience teaching and mentoring, and actually utilize and apply their skills, instead of starting off post college or mid career in a job that doesn't relate to their field of interest. Study Breaks & Beats puts the musician and producer right where they belong!

Mvstermind Creates Curriculum for inner City students from ages 8-17 to learn how to Produce music. Teaches students the fundamentals of how to record, Engineer, compose positive music that can reflect their living situations yet at the same time bringing positivity into the situation.  STUDENTS WORK WITH PROGRAMS SUCH AS, FL STUDIO, REASON, PROTOOLS. in 2015 Mvstermind was contracted for the “Ferguson Commission” to compose a song with student that was presented the Department of Justice Ferguson report. The making of the story was featured on the national television (Nine network.)  Nine Network did a feature story on this program with the Baden Community Center Study Breaks and Beats Session. Muhammad Mvstermind Austin also Held a study breaks and beats Concert at Saint Louis University in conjunction with Red Bull featuring local Saint Louis Musicians.   The Goal is to take the study breaks and beats program up to the next level, and increase funding to keep fellow hard working artist EMPLOYED and the STudents in classrooms Learning.

MME has never had a manager nor a tour manager, just a collective of hard working artist determined to get to a destination, so they took matters in their own hands. MME worked together and delegated tasks, reaching out to venues, documenting merchandise sales, configuring travel arrangements etc to ensure the best travels. MME's nation trekking helped them build a strong and support fan base, that in return finically backed the team during their travels.

This tour marked MME's first official multi-city tour. Starting the midwest, traveling to Texas for SXSW for a Showcase with Run The Jewels/Saint Louis Native DJ Trackstar, from there they headed over to Denver, the three show stint in Colorado had a huge impact on the music scene, MME sold out of merchandise while in Denver Colorado. While out in New Mexico, MME received a phone call about a show opportunity in Los Angeles, although low on funds, they changed gps routes, and started a go-fund me rising and extra $700 for gas an travel fees. The "I think you can call this a tour" Tour set the bar high for MME, with funds raised by supporters, and the money accumulated on the tour MME managed to break even by six dollars, huge feat for independent bands.

This tour picked back where the collective previously left.  With the climate in Saint Louis and the nation being thick after the death of Mike Brown, MME decided that they would name the their upcoming tour "Black Matter Lives Tour" Stating that, black lives matter, and even with all of the killings going on, we will continue to live strong and boldly, forever, as art, as memories, as black matter in the universe would. Smart move on MME's part, they used the platform to spread awareness about social issues. Bringing a whole new meaning to the musicians phrase "Hands Up", MME would have the entire venue paying tribute to those who have fallen unjustly before us.  The platform was in full effect, even a venue in Lawrence Kansas City had "Black Matter Live tour" posted outside in bright lights. With the previous tour, MME  had built up a large fan base in Denver, so large that the city rallied together and requested MME as the supporting act at for nationally Known rapper Curren$y. With over 600 fans jam packed in the Cervantes Masterpiece Ball room, the venue was sold out.
